“encounters: oi! oi! oi! is an innovative sound art exhibition curated by Toolbox Percussion. This extraordinary showcase offers visitors a truly unique, multi-sensory experience by transforming everyday objects into mesmerizing musical compositions.
Percussion is a fundamental part of our everyday lives. From children splashing in puddles to our fingers unconsciously tapping on elevator surfaces, percussion is a sound, experience, and memory that everyone can create in their own time and space.
To accentuate the essence of this special exhibition, the key visual design uses the letters "o" and "i" to mimic the surface of a drum and a drumstick. The repetition of these letters highlights the ubiquitous nature of percussion - it is truly everywhere and anywhere.
Building upon the key visual, the exhibition's collateral materials further enhance the overall experience for visitors while conveying the central message of the event.
